On the DVR9 you may have a problem seeing your recorded files. The recorder is not faulty or has deleted your recordings so dont panic.. You will need to make a small change to your computer, in the way you view files stored on devices.
The method to change what folders you can see on your computer on Vista is not much different than in XP. Here are the step-by-step directions.
1. Click the round blue Start thing in the left corner
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Folder Options
4. Click the View tab
5. Click Show hidden files and folders
6. Uncheck / remove tick from Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
7. Click OK
All folders and recorded files will now show on your voice recorder.
