SD Memory Card Basic Troubleshooting:

Check your owner's manual and compare the specifications of the memory with the specification supported by your manufacturer.

Check that the module has been seated completely.

If the device displays a card error on using the memory card for the first time, we suggest formatting the card in the camera to ensure that the card is correctly associated with the devices operating system.

Formatting can also be achieved on the PC or laptop using the SD formatter application available from the
SD card Association Downloads page.
